Doomsday

Well this is a bit of subject but watched this film called Doomsday, the first 5 to 10 mins I was like wow, Virus outbreak, army killing people, it was really nicely done.

Skips to the year 2037 or 8 or something like that, they send a commando police squad sort of thing into a quariteen zone, kinda reminded me of aliens with the apc's.
That is were it went all wrong, it's like another director came in half way, took 9 ideas from 9 different movies and tried to mold it into one :|

There was a mad max sort of city scotts fighting the military, then king arthurs knights dueling them to the death, followed by robin hood and james bond.
The blood/gore factor went from believable to way OTT, the story just lost its plot and the sceenes became so cheesy I swear I could smell chedder coming out from my girlfriends TV set.

Such a shame, the film could of been so much more, What do you guys think?

Due to some personal problems there has been a lack of posting but just want to say I'm still alive and my greatest apologies.

Any way got a new project currently in the brain storming process, it was an old idea that we have re-visited, a steam punk wargame and role play setting.
More information will be on here soon before the end of the month once I have sorted out my work space.

Hope everyone is allright, check out some of my links, some good webpages there within the community! Seph.

Bit of a back log

Sorry for the slightly late post, been a little while due to personal problems but all is on it's way to mending itself so I'm back.

Ok quick note, bought a nice little board game for haloween called Zombies!!!, Very fun and simple.
I posted about it on the Wartube forums, this quoted of their site;

'Zombies!!! is a simple but fun board game, my girlfriend and 6 yr old step daughter arn't really into role play or war gaming Sad (YET! RA HA HA HA) but I saw this small little box with a picture of a man wielding a chainsaw surrounded by zombies.

WOW! thats all I could say.

I bought it and took it home, me and my family have played twice and really love it, it's a simple game were you can win by either getting to the helipad first or by killing 25 zombies.

The map tile cards, the event cards and dice are really good quality but the models (zombie and player) rulebook and life and bullet tokens lack quality.

I would recommend this to any one for a different game during the evening but warn you about some of the lack of quality.

Though if like my self you like making model you could get away with making your own, though your looking around 6 player models and 100 zombies lol

'

When I get the digital camera up and running I will post some pics on here for you Guys until check out the creators website http://www.twilightcreationsinc.com/zombies/
